the Gallery
The gallery at Woodruff's Art Center features the
works of resident artists Amy Rice
and Cecilia Capitanio. Selected guest
artists are also exhibited and bring an added dimension.
Subject matter includes landscapes, seascapes, still
life, house portraits, people and pet portraits, abstracts.
New exhibits are spotlighted throughout the year,
with changing shows regularly. Check out Calendar
of Events for upcoming shows.
Currently On Display at
Woodruff's
"The Art
of Seeing: Four Photographers View Their World"
will be on display from July 3 through August
3, 2010. Photographers Ben Allsup, Ned Manter,
Kathryn Olson and Aaron St. Pierre each have
an individual manner of expressing what they
see. Their works shown together will present
an eclectic array of pieces and give viewers
a chance to glimpse the world all around us,
seen through someone else's eye.
There will be an opening reception Thursday,
July 8th from 6-8 p.m.
